How Chaos of Early Childhood Trauma Affects Our Adult Nervous System

In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Tian Dayton who is a leading voice in relational trauma repair through sociometry and psychodrama. A prolific writer on adult children of alcoholics addicts, she specialties in therapeutic modalities in addiction and relational trauma.

Does growing up in chaos impact our nervous systems even as adults?

This episode will speak to the effect of chaos and confusion in our early childhood dynamics, whether or not that was due to alcohol or substance use in your family. The result though is unconscious coping mechanisms even into adulthood and how to recognize that we even have these unconscious survival strategies.
