The awareness and effective utilization of the body’s natural rhythms is missing in trauma recovery. Our biological rhythms, like circadian rhythm, digestive rhythm, sleep rhythm, etc. Trauma disrupts our biological rhythms, and aligning with them is part of the trauma healing journey. More than that, we can actually use them to help us with our trauma recovery.
